Robbers attacked my Jos Home, macheted my dad and said i'll be their next target- Super Eagles' Onazi Ogenyi tells LIB


Trabzonspor of Turkey and Super Eagles of Nigeria defensive midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has revealed to LIB how his family house in Jos was attacked by robbers and how his father was brutalized and valuable possessions taken after some reports on social media about a burglary attempt at his house circulated this afternoon..
According to the 23 year old midfielder who was in his Turkish house as at when the incident happened, he is happy his dad, Pa Onazi wasn't killed during the process.

When LIB contacted him to hear directly from him about the incident, he said
'My brother nothing more than what you've already heard'

'The police are on the case now.They took some cash and some valuables and a car but thank God they didn't do more than that' Onazi told LIB.

''This people pretended to deliver a letter to my dad on Monday afternoon as soon as he opened the door, they attacked him, tied him with rope, hit him with machete and gave him wounds''

'After that they took a car and money and told him i'm next'

Onazi also said his family members are shaken by the incident but that he's grateful it didn't get worse than that.
